What is CoolArts?

CoolArts connects artists and art-lovers and offers a wide variety of works from young, unknown and experienced artists.

Works can be purchased as originals or high-quality prints, posters and also as digital downloads. You can also print your own images on a poster, canvas and other materials.

Our mission is to open the doors to art, so that everyone can experience this creative world. We believe that a piece of art makes your life better everyday. Art shouldn’t be complicated or just for the elite.

What kind of payment methods do you accept?

Creditcard (Visa, MasterCard), PayPal, Postcard, advance payment and invoice (only for registered customers)

Who are your artists?

Our artists are young, up and coming but also unknown artists from Switzerland. We will also include international artists soon. All artwork will be viewed by a competent panel of art professionals to ensure a high quality.

Do you have a store somewhere?

Not yet but we’re always on the lookout for locations to give our artists a chance to show their art. Be it café’s, galleries or other exceptional places. Where can I sign up for your cool newsletter?

After the login you can subscribe and unsubscribe from our newsletter in your profile settings.

What happens with my data?

Security and privacy are our highest priority. CoolArts respects the privacy of our users on the website and online shop. Your data is secure and will not be forwarded.

Where do you deliver your products and how long does it take?

Initially we’re delivering in Switzerland only.

Standard delivery is 5-7 working days. You can find all information about delivery and returns here: Customer Service

 

What type of packaging do you use?

Our products are delivered in stable cardboard packagings to ensure best protection.

Can I pay by invoice?

Yes, as a registered customer you can. You can register here.


How can I change my email-address or password?

If you’re using a new email-address for your orders, please register again here.

Forgot your password? No problem: Just click on the login-page on “Forgot password”. You will soon receive an email and you can reset your password.

 

Why do you need my phone number during order process?

In case of questions with your order or delivery problems we can give you a quick call. Your phone number will not be used for marketing promotions nor will it be forwarded.

Is my artwork being approved by a panel?

Yes, all your artwork will be viewed by a panel of art professionals to ensure good quality.

How do I login and set up my artist profile?

How can I upload high quality photographs to be able to sell fine prints from originals?

Beautiful photos are essential to present and sell your artwork.

Customers can buy your original but also fine prints of it, thus it’s important that your photographs are available in a high quality format.

We recommend to have all your original artwork photographed by a professional photographer. You can soon find some specialists in the Artist-Info.

Do I keep the rights to my artwork?

Yes, of course. For the promotion of our artists, we will use photos and pictures of your artwork on our social channels, website and blog.

How much control do I have over my artwork?

A whole lot! You can upload artwork into your artist-profile, set the price-range, change information and activate/deactivate artwork. You can also decied how your art ist used and licensed.

All changes will be reviewed by our team, but of course we respect how you want to present your art.


Do I have any obligations?

For original artwork you have the obligation to keep it for at least 6 months in the CoolArts shop.

This helps us to keep a sustainable business and to be able to present and promote your artwork for a long time.

Your other obligation is to always make sure you have the rights to all the artwork in your profile.

Can I upload as many artworks as I want?

Yes you can. All artwork will be viewed by our panel (which also has the right to reject artwork).


Do I have to pay a fee to sign up?

No, your registration is free.

If you sell one of your artworks, the splits are the following:

Artist: 60%

CoolArts: 40%

When do I get paid after a customer bought art from me?

You will receive your payments within 10 days or quarterly (depending on the amount).

Why can’t I see my artist profile after setting it up?

To have your profile visible on the website, you have to upload at least one artwork. Every artist-profile will be viewed by our team.
This can take a few days.  We’re striving for a quick process.
